Good luck I have never forgotten my first time outside. I went to Northern Concord (Trans Support Group in Manchester) above a pub in the gay village. I was wolf whistled by some builders (more sarcasm I think) and had a nice comment as I was walking by a couple.

I never looked back and have had loads of mini adventures dressed out and about. Only a couple of scary incidents but nothing too bad.
