Have you tried any local Facebook groups OP?
You may get chatting to people with similar interests to you.
I’m also on the local Nextdoor app group, it’s a good way of getting yourself out there

In general, real world…..I have precisely zero friends, and I’m ok with that. I can live with my own company, and I don’t have people that can let me down when I need them most.
On here, and through other forums, there a a few people that I speak with regularly enough to call them friends. And we try to get together when it’s feasible. |

I don't carry friends
I intentionally don't carry acquaintances
Other than family, I know three people who I could rely on
I am not constantly in their pockets and they are not in mine
We just pick up where we left off and are aware of the co-dependence thing
That reliance is mutual
I am happy with that status quo |

I’ve kinda purposely walked away from all my friends over the last 4 years.
It seemed a lot of the time I was being used for things and felt it better to not be taken advantage of by these people
The hermit life is a quiet one though |

It could mean there wasn't a person there and they wasn't needed when they weren't there in the first place if they weren't being there when not. |

The only friends I've got are in the tranny scene..and they ain't proper friends really... I'm quite happy on my own... I've enough to keep me occupied...so I ain't really bothered.. I've always been a bit of a lone wolf anyway.. |
