I am meeting Nero very soon and he wants to show me his Clock in the The Royal Academy 'members' club. I'm wondering how big it is...

Have you seen it?

Have you touched it?

What do you like about it?

Would you like Nero to show you his clock too?

Honestly his clock is not nearly as ostentatious as he makes out.

We shall have to wear white frilly shirts and Piccadills for our pistols at dawn at Hampstead Heath."

Damn! I have checked my wardrobe and unfortunately have no white frilly shirt or piccadills! I shall have to dress as a peasant from the french revolution!

1) Does that bar me from duels?

2) Hampstead Heath? Would my dress of choice make me 'fair game!' for the locals re: sexual shenanigans!!

Yours Sincerely

Quivering Nelson

"I can’t quite make out how big it is but he is having to hold it with two hands

Maybe Nero has teeny tiny hands….

I suppose that’s possible, but….. look at the size of that thing! Dear god!

I’m surprised he hasn’t lost consciousness trying to carry it round all day.

maybe he’s hiding a really big head???

I suppose that’s also possible. He must have a helmet the size of a cathedral bell in that case.

He does always wear a Hat

I wonder if it’s genetic? That usually skips a generation so his Grandfather’s Clock must have been impressive too.

Probably too tall for its shelf? I'm assuming it stood 90yrs on the floor. "

That's likely, if it was bought on the morn of the day that he was born.

I challenge you to a duel at dawn!

A duel of ballbusting!! And care of your slight, I get to go first!

I nominate Glowupdoll as my second! She is well versed in ballbusting this week!

I am confused! I cannot remember whether I left Fab for a while or was spirited away to an island and placed in an iron mask...your comments do not help! Prepare yourself for the ducking stool! *-... Oh! Nearly forgot...there'll be a cup of tea and some nice shampoo and conditionerwhen the ducking is over!

It's clearly big enough to always have three hands on it, gently circling for maximum efficiency. Very impressive.

"I used to visit the Royal Academy members club. It's very lovely.

Make sure to visit the gardens too

"

Oyy, I used to be a patron you know!! I have taken tea in the garden and enjoyed the artists room on many occasions before an exclusive viewing at the summer exhibition.

(Ok, technically a gentleman I used to Dominate was the patron, but I did visit a number of times. I can scrub up well and sound cultured)
