You're not going to be for everyone. The people you *are* going to be for is likely to be a very, very small percentage of the userbase, and you have to be okay with that or you're probably going to have a really rough time here.
Sometimes my messages get left unread. Sometimes they're read with no reply. Sometimes they're deleted immediately. Sometimes I start talking to someone and they just stop responding mid-conversation. These should all be taken as an indication that for whatever reason they're not interested in you, or are no longer interested for whatever reason.
Feeling entitled to someone else's attention or time just because you approached them is exactly how you ensure fewer people will want to give you either. |
