A Secret Hideaway In the caravan of love

A recently retired member of our department has arranged a leaving do at his house, to which we have all been invited. We were all dumfounded today when one of our department had an strop because his wife hadn't been invited. He said it was completely unreasonable to expect him to go out without her on a Saturday night, and he was refusing to go.

Pathetic or rather sweet

What do you think.

Was it a case of no partners allowed? I can sort of understand it if it was but otherwise it's a bit strange, I wouldn't go out with S's workmates and vice versa

Have never felt the need to live my life entwined with someone else. Maybe its a generation thing?
