i had it all day yesterday. i get as much diclofenex and colchasien down me and loads of fluids. i can usually get rid of it in about three days now

know a bloke through a friend who has it caused by constant supping of booze,never mind though he's on every benefit going and has a blue badge so can park up anywhere as his foot hurts just because he can't stop supping

ooh very painful!! I needed to get tablets from the doctor who explained it's the crystalisation of uric acid

Try Ibubrofen for fast relief and keep foot elevated

think being very over weight contributes to it also if your a heavy drinker

i take allopurinal all the time but still have the odd flare up. the doctor can do a simple blood test to see what your levels of ulric acid are

when your told what the doctor said caused it and they can't stop eating and drinking so much its kind of a clue

Not overweight and seldom drink, I have medication and if I take it as soon as I feel it starting it is normally gone by the next day but in the mean time the pain is bloody bad, I normally get it in my big toe, but today it's in my ankle had to come down stairs on my Bum tonight lol

Got a friend who has this problem. Diet and medication can assist although he takes the medication but abuses his diet!
