I need something proper tonight

I've eaten nothing but carbs all day

1st brekkie 7.30am - bacon roll

2nd brekkie 10am - toasted cranberry, raisin & cashew bloomer*

Lunch 1pm - 2 toast at the car wash

Mid PM snack 3pm - choc chip shortbread

* if you haven't tried this from the bakery in Tesco, you must!

It's been a funny old day MB

I've had a wander round Bury Market, I've made up a batch of chilli jam, I've been to have the car valeted and I've been 10 pin bowling with some folks from work

I need to relax and re-group for a short while now

Looks like a Chinese takeaway for dinner in this house! Elder girls choice. Luckily our local Chinese takeaway is very good.

Is only good if the rice is properly fried, has plenty of egg and peas in it and can smell the sesame oil from a mile away

MB, my daughter is a fussy eater, part of the autism. If it doesn't taste right, or the texture isn't right, she won't eat it. This place is spot on. She's missed it while she's been at Uni, because none of the Chinese takeaways there are as good!
