Tom is not an animal lover but respects that if they do not bother him and mind their own business then he will not bother them or interfere with one. Reports from Essex, that a man, probably a tourist, snatched a young seal pup with it's unambigual cord till attached to show family and friends. He did not return the seal pub, which is smaller than a walrus or sea lion, to it's mother. Reports do not say, but it is now being safely looked after by a wildlife hospital in Essex. What sort of idiot would do this. . it's all over the news. |

Remind me what an "unambigual cord" is. I take it that it is unambiguous, but is it a musical chord or an electric cable cord?  |

What I learned today by Granny aged 69 and a half...
Seals often leave their pups to go foraging.
The headline says ..... 'taken from mother' in inverted commas which basically means it was alone.
It was found on the beach so my guess is that the person who lifted it ... thought about what to do with it and then put it down again on the sand.
Kids have done this with birds eggs and puppies and kittens until they know better.
Doesn't seem to be a seal stealing demon out there |
