Got a duck from a big supermarket, got it home and started to marinade it, and realised its bum has been chopped off!!!
It was not included in the packet of giblets that came with the bird!!!
I know it will be thrown away and not get eaten, and I have been taught not to make stock with it, as it has an odour which is an acquired taste.
However, I am peeved that I was not given the choice to do what I would like to do with it!!! Like giving it to my dog, and he would have loved it!!!
The bird looks odd without it too!!!
Not usually negative, however, I did not get what I thought I paid for.
Small fry compare with what others have to go through right now, like sprite being stuck indoors, and the lady who has been diagnosed with B12 deficiency though  |
