I'm following Sir Jamie's recipe for turkey gravy (making it well in advance) and its in the over now sizzling away and smells like.. well... fookin heaven!!
Chopped up carrots, onions, celery. Bay leaves, Sage leaves, rosemary, 2 star anise, 10 chicken wings, 2 rash sm. bacon.
Salt & Pepper
Cook for an hour
Then mash it all up and add 2 tbsp plain flour for every pint of water and braise for 20 mins.
Sieve & freeze.
Add turkey juices on Xmas Day.
