Dogging So what really happens??

I was so looking forward to learning more about the muffs about dogging and so watched channel 4s program I am still none the wiser how do meets get arranged what sort of places? And do all those that participate look like that and were did the masks come from? |

From my limited experience there are no masks involved and it's places such as wooded areas, country parks and deserted areas.
We have posted details of a meet before and had some guys say they'll be there, or invited some guys to meet us, but mostly we just turn up at our two most popular locations  |

I would love to go to a meet but wouldn't have clue were to start or look its on my ten things to do before you die list let me know if your ever down this way or any other couple in the Essex area let me know if you plan on going dogging |

Well, seemingly, you go out and buy a mask. Any animal one will do, (as long as its NOT a dog for some reason). Then thouroughly apply lynx or joop before jumping in your car and driving through town with said mask firmly attached to your forehead.
When you get to the woods, thats the time to check if your in the right place, usually via a mobile phone. If you are, cautously move through the woods in case a stray branch snags on your mask.
When you get to the appointed area, sweep it for dog shit and cock shaped branches before tapping on a car window and asking if foxy can play with piggy! |

I really wish the show would have said they are wearing masks to protect their identities cos we're too lazy or don't have the cash to blur faces in post.
No everyone (ie twitter) seems to think doggers wear these masks! |

Do doggers all gather in their own little groups when meeting? Foxes with foxes, pandas with pandas and so on. Until its time to pounce on minnie the mouse when she appears with mickey. |

Why is everyone talking about the masks? It was pretty obvious why they were wearing them and don't tell me you wouldn't if you were going to be on national television!! |

They were about as useful at hiding the identities as drawing on a fake moustache and wearing comedy glasses!
I reckon it was scheduled for screening on April 1st, didn't believe anything in it, it was a piss take from start to finish and was quite enjoyable viewing once I had that frame of mind. It should be nominated for a comedy BAFTA award. |

To be honest the masks did fuck all. If you know the people with out the mask you would with them.

I second it for a bafta - I reckon Mr Gervais was behind one of those masks! And when the daper Terry was on the sofa with the two girls - every mans dream!! Classic! |

Springwatch meets Fantastic Mr Fox! It was bizarre!Understand all the participants wanting to remain anonomous ( although we suspect the neighbours have a pretty good idea now ), but it did little to demistesise dogging, if anything we suspect it confused and made it more surreal, and that's to us, swingers ( not doggers btw ).The masks and the wildlife, it was just wierd...... |

Perhaps it was to disguise them but when Les and Sue were calling each other by their names that you could clearly see tattooed on their arms then the masks became, what can only be described by the viewing public, hilariously funny!!
