Barcelona has seen fresh anti tourist demonstrations against mass tourism with innocent people enjoying visiting the beautiful city getting squirted with water pistols.
Whilst I sympathise with the cause in that people are being priced out of living in their home it also brings in jobs and revenue.
I wouldn't say Barcelona would go broke without tourism but it must bring in a huge amount of income.
The problem lies with greedy property owners and the authorities not providing affordable housing surely?
