Alicante, Spain. (Sometimes in Wales) |
I don’t have a loft, but I’ve got a shipping container in the garden.
Climbing equipment.
Snow sports equipment.
Gym equipment.
Tools.
Gas barbecue.
An electric bike. (Not mine).
Christmas stuff.
The quad bike goes in there when I’m away from home.
It’s so much better than a loft!!!

Our winter clothes. Christmas decorations. Boxes of books that we don't have shelf room for. Bags of clothes etc waiting to go to charity shops. Various miscellaneous items too numerous to mention.
I'd suggest putting boxed film merchandise in the loft. It's the only thing I can think of that might be valuable in years to come, if any of us are still around |

Two teen bedrooms
Shower room
Desk area on the landing bit
Secret storage door that when you climb in it goes all the way along the length of the roof one side of the house. |

Gone and completely forgotten. |
I have a cellar, and contrary to popular belief, it does not contain chained up missing fabettes
It does have several hundred books, over a thousand CD's (compact discs... ), and about half my DVD's.

"Old comics, stamps, granny’s China?

What crap should you be putting in the loft now, So that when you retire it will be worth a lot of money"
Dunno, never once gone up there x |

Above the double garage on the landing are loads of Halloween props, then a kitchen diner with futon bed, a double bedroom & off the landing a shower room,wc & sink. The main house loft is mainly Xmas decs, & plastic boxes of “stuff”
The main hoarding is in the garage itself with complete nightclub disco & pa set up, and lots of medieval equipment used at events
I am never leaving this place too much to move |

I'm guessing roof trusses and insulation Never even opened the loft hatch and as it was a brand new house last November it should be as the builders left it. I might have to venture up there to have a look |

"I've just remembered my Christmas tree and decorations were put in the loft a couple of years ago.
I couldn't get anyone to get them down last year."
This upsets me, I'll nip round this year. |

We moved house this year after 31 years, it took about 4 days to clear the loft, threw so much stuff away which some people would have wanted. What really pissed me off was finding a load of vinyl records which I'd gone out and bought again! |

i dont put anything in the loft - if it needs to go in the loft it can go in the bin.
my dad saved everything for years on the guise that it would be worth money at somepoint - comics, ornaments, silver so much junk - took over a week to clear it when he died and there was very little if anything that had any commercial value - although it was fun to look at some of the things |

But any Lego set when it comes out (don’t build/open it) when they stop producing that set watch the price soar.
But in seriousness. If it’s going in the loft ask yourself are you really going to ever want it again.
Seasonal decs yes, seasonal clothes/bedding yes.
Old Knick knacks, clothes you’ve grown out of or too small for, sports equipment that you’ll do again one day. Just take it to charity, recycle or sell on. |
