Spinning off from another thread, what are 3 old horror films you would recommend? And when I say 'old', please pick films that are older than me as I don't need an existential crisis this morning.

Night of the Demon- ‘it’s in the trees he’s coming’ still creepy to this day.

Les Diaboliques - see it without reading the synopsis. It’s very creepy and a good scary film.

The Gorgon - Not seen it in years but really enjoyed as a teenager. Old Hammer horror film so you’ll know it’s dated but fun.

I’ll add if you enjoyed this film add Captain Kronos Vampire Hunter as a double bill, also a Hammer film.

Sorry need to also recommend…

The Beast must Die ..with its werewolf break halfway through the film

Frankenstein (1931)

Island of Lost Souls (1932)

Night of the Demon (1957)

The first three to come to mind - all classics.
