When he collected his car later the mechanic started chatting.
He said "We're both in a similar job really, you bring me a lifeless engine, I clean and adjust the valves and have it sorted like new, but I earn £30k a year and you earn over £100k."
The surgeon smiled as he received his keys and as he got into his car he said "Try doing it while the engine is still running"  |
