We aren't talking a flake here which is meant too..it's a solid piece of material that shouldn't snap, take it back and don't leave until you have your money back.

I like simplicity..............

The OP has rights

Under The Consumer Rights Act 2015 and The Sale of Goods Act 1979 (for purchases made before 1 October 2015) the law says that any goods you buy must be: Of satisfactory quality; Fit for any particular purpose made known to the seller; and as described.

A trip to the jewellers is needed unless it was a pearl necklace fab style?

Under the sale of goods act....if you are returning it within a reasonable time of purchase you have the choice of refund, repair or replacement..if i were you i would go for refund as everything they sell seems to be shite

Yeah you can get a refund, Not a great time to be buying gold at the moment and remember for chains and rings don’t go above 18 carat, if possible and you can get it in the UK is 14 Karat very very strong

I just checked and the suggested retail price of 18Kt gold today in the UK is £46.45 per gram then on top of this that is the design and making fees , the commission and then 20% VAT. So probably the worst possible time to buy gold
