My dream job is/was marine biologist. And I've done it abroad. However, there's very little money in it. So wonderful for what it was when I was young and carefree. Then I needed to grow up

It’s a bit complicated for me.

My dream job is parallel to what I am doing, but my dream evolved during my studies. I am doing exactly as I thought I would do. Researching, questioning, answering, finding solutions. It just looks a bit different than what I first envisioned.

Dream Job : Deep space exploration. Suspended Animation. Put on vessel. 40,000 years approx to Alpha Centauri. Wake up, do some science. Check out Proxima b and d. Claim it for Earth (if no sentient life forms there). Back to ship and Sus-An. Set co-ords for another system. Rinse and Repeat.

Logically, it'd make sense to go back to Earth, as 80K years have passed, so better tech, faster ships, etc. Then back out again.

I had the most amazing penguin experience! There is a little island, Phillip Island, in the Mornington Peninsula near Melbourne, Australia where you can watch penguins coming in every night from their time hunting, swimming, etc. You can pay to experience them literally surrounding you too instead of watching from afar inside a building. You sit on the beach and watched as they start coming in, and stay until the last one has been spotted coming in. It was about three hours when I last did it. At the end of it, as your walk back to the museum with torches guiding the way, you find yourself surrounded by thousands of little blue penguins socialising.

It’s an unbelievable experience. If you love penguins if highly rate it.

Being a gardener actually sounds like a dream job. I don't garden properly, but like the idea of pottering around like Monty Don with my dogs...

I don’t think I had a dream job at least not a serious one as a young kid had stupid unrealistic ones like a racing car driver or a ninja haha

I actually like my real job having my own small paving and building company, well I do mostly. Picking up a frosty shovel on a below 0 winters day not so much but it balances out cone summer

When I was kid, my dream job was to be an astronomer.

I studied electronic engineering at university, and my dream job was to be a communications engineer - design radios and communication systems.

My real job, now, is a software engineer.

I don't have a dream job anymore, I'd just like to avoid dying in poverty.

Dream jobs when I was younger: F1 driver or fighter pilot.

Actual: switched careers during covid and now working as a software developer

I'm also looking at possibilities and routes for working within the mental health services either as another carer change or in my spare time

Dream and Job should not be in the same sentence.

But I have a job I realy enjoy and am passionate about, so I’m lucky. I work outside along with nature and the world, so it’s all good.
