So Indian won the finals yesterday, many congratulations to all the Indian team supporters. I watched this match in a renowned pub, and to my surprise people from all sorts of racial background, were cheering for team India. So, yes, Indians might not come across as attractive lot here on this website but the amount of support they have outside is phenomenal. This completely debunks the idea of Indians being marginalised, people do like and appreciate those who put in effort to achieve something. Had to write this as in the past I never had such an experience being Indian ( now British citizen) - filled with overwhelming positive emotions, so thanks everyone once again who supported team India for this marvellous T-20 World Cup. England too played well, and hope they bring the cup home next time  |
