He's hugely talented and hard working.
He sings, acts, dances ( of sorts ) and has funny bones.....
BUT times change and where I used to find him funny, I now find him really dated and hardly cutting edge.
Some of his jokes border on unfunny comments that kids make that are only funny if you are a kid and he labours family routines far too much.
He reminds me a little of Peter Kay, that sort of 'lad off the street' cheeky and funny but fast becomes an annoying twat. |

You know when you see Matt Rife on you tube or tiktok (ok I know most of you are far too superior for TT) and he seems really funny, then you watch his actual stand up and it's actually really shit?
We went to see Jason in 2019, having seen clips of his comedy and thought "he looks like a funny fuck", I'm just glad I didn't buy the tickets tbh, just rehashing the same jokes he has been peddling for a good few years. Don't get me wrong he is very talented but I don't really rate him as a full time comedian. |

"Meh. Everytime I look at him a neon sign goes off behind my eyes “he was a cheating twat”.
Hard to look past that.
He is good in musicals and theatre, I’ll give him that.
"
I know it was years ago and normally I can look past their private life but I'm the same. I don't know why |

Try get a DVD called Jason Manford at the Apollo. On the cover he's holding a mic to his ear. That is his at his absolute best.... Topics like the worst pain and how many times a week you masturbate will have you giggling like a loon. Look out for a bit where an audience member gets a joke over him too and his reaction. |
