What do you buy a guy for his bday?
Jump to: Newest in thread
"So my 30th is coming up and I don't need or want anything but my sister is making a big deal out of it.
Any ideas "
Something that builds a memory of you and your sister together. Like a skydiving jump etc something unique perhaps where you get to spend time together doing something for day with silly photo or two at end |

For someone like you who has everything they need, I’d buy an experience type of present. Something that allow them to create a memorable experience doing something with or without me. |

Whats the budget?
As you seem to live fairly near the coast/beach, being in Scouseville, if you really want something a little different that might just surprise you in the fun stakes, ask for a Peter Lynn power kite.
On the occasions i do get to escape from the middle of the country, little is more fun or just clears away the shite of life than hooning round on a windy beach, being dragged through the sand by a giant sky sock...trust me, its a fucking hoot! (even better if you get yourself a board or buggy once you learn to fly properly) ?? |

Funny answer - woman of the night
Realistic answer - can never go wrong with a good aftershave, a nice jumper (no high street designer shit), or else cash in a card |

Buying anything D&D related is my go to for Rubik or Rubik cubes (he currently has a 9 sided one on the go lol).
I bought him a beer and cheese pairing afternoon for his birthday last year, that was pretty fun to do.

You can get subscriptions delivered to you, For whatever you like.
Cheese, hot sauces, they even do different Toasties. Maybe tell her you want a subscription and let her get creative then you'll be surprised |

The activity thing is a great idea. Thing is we are going up Ben Nevis on my birthday and then going for a dinner later and she's also coming for a bouldering session with me in Edinburgh.
I really would hate for her to spend anymore money, like hanging out with her is enough for me but she's still hellbound on getting something.

"A photo-shoot with her and any other siblings."
I think we would have to facetime my other siblings for that, she lives in Australia but that's actually a great idea. I have a picture of the 3 of us on my desk from years ago so this is actually a great idea for Xmas when she comes to visit |

"Pyjamas.
Really luxurious comfy pure cotton ones.
I had some for Christmas and they are the best thing I’ve ever received."
This might actually be a good shout. I use my pyjama shorts as my lounge wear. I absolutely love them! |
