I'd also hate being disappointed when I saw a forum user's face when it doesn't look as I'd imagine. How it is now is good, I can keep pretending people sound and look a certain way. |

This, for me. Growing up I thought I was moving into a world where a lot of the stigma and rigid thinking about sex, and specifically around sex solely for pleasure, had fallen away.
As I've got older however, I see now how a lot of that good old fashioned group-think and social shaming still remains (and if anything has been positively reinforced by the rise of social media). I'm saying this with a focus on employers, people's livelihoods, etc. |

The thing that these type of threads show is that many people who do have facepics public are of the opinion that those who don't are ashamed or have something to hide.
Some like to shout from the rooftops that they are swingers and claim they don't give a fuck who knows.
The problem with that approach is that they struggle to understand why others don't do likewise.
I've never once had a conversation with a friend or colleague about my sex life or theirs so I'm hardly going to plaster my face all over my profile.
Therefore to answer the original question I would leave and never return for as long as the mandatory rule was in place. |

In terms of getting to know someone and spend time cultivating a friendship, I think a face and a well worded profile helps
If I want a quick 'meet today' shag, it is much easier to meet a bloke - and they, invariably, react to cock pics rather than face pics

A couple of other sites we are on don’t allow you to take screen shots, message people and you have to be verified and paid members to have that privilege.
We love face pics - always nice to put a face to a body.
