Some people actively don't want that kind of 'validation.'
Some people get uppity about men fabbing their dick pics, removing the option saves their headspace.
Probably loads of reasons.
I leave mine on, but I don't look at who's fabbed me or have a purpose for it, it's just the automatic setting. If, in some way, it felt better for me to not have that option, I'd turn it off too. |

I guess they don't want the fabs. It might be because they feel they don't need of court external validation and feel the purpose of their pictures are to show people what they look like. Or they don't want fans from certain sections of fab and would rather none at all. Or they assume they'll get none anyway and would rather not have their assumption verified.

"I was thinking it’s a way of knowing someone likes the way you look!
Or often a way to try and gain attention to get past filters."
This is why I have my switched off. The number of messages I would receive with the subject line mentioning they Fabbed my pic as if there was an expectation of Fabs sent leading to interest.
Now, I get messages saying since I couldn’t Fab your pics... |
