It's great for the first 5 seasons but then it goes down a bit but you're already invested so you see it through to the end.
There's a reason it gripped pop culture for close to a decade and now no one talks about it ever. |

Yeah I've reread it a few times in the hope I finish as he releases it ha the show was good up until it outran the books. Even then they left out a lot of good storylines and gave some to different characters from the books. Have you watched house of the dragons? |

I felt I was waiting for. retain things to happen in the series that didn't, some of which I didn't mind, but some I thought would have added better to the overall narative. but there's only so much you can convert from a book. I agree about it dropping off after surpassing the books though, and I think he has admitted that the books had a lot more planning.
seen the 1st series of HotD and was impressed, hopefully the 2nd continues the same way |

Absolutely. I would never have given it a second thought, but my son was watching an episode here one night and I heard a long spiel from a young girl who was a queen in it and that was it, she was so good at her role I thought I would give it a go and believe me I couldn’t stop watching it, it’s not my normal Type of thing, back in the 15th century type stuff, but it was great, that’s only my opinion |

Majority of people I speak to about it love it, along with myself. Worth watching whole way though, it is unique. Bit dark in places though be warned, I got disturbed by couple things in it |

It's superb. Don't worry about the raggedy ending, it's worth it for the scope, and the characters and the proof that fantasy doesn't have to be twee.
And when you've finished, House of the Dragon is even more fascinating - different in tone and focus, but magnificent. Season 1 is worth watching for Paddy Considine's performance alone.

Yeah. Just don’t watch it with your mum or dad.
Shedloads of dirty sex in it. I’ve never made so many cups of tea as I did watching GOT.
And don’t get too invested in the storyline because it all goes to shit in the last season!
Apart from that, it’s really good. |

Frankly it’s amazing and the cinematography is excellent
However if you have read the books there are some “Stark “ differences
Plus the books are ‘darker ‘
But well worth the time to watch in my view

With all the hype of the last season coming, I decided to try it again (this is on its first run), as I had tried before but didn't get it, it is a large and complicated plot which takes the first season to explain.
I couldn't stop watching it after the first 5 episodes, Peter Dinklage great actor. |
