The thing about Glastonbury (just down t’road from where I grew up btw) is that I’d be proper pissed off if I shelled out 400 notes to be there but couldn’t see fuck all because some selfish fucker at the front decided to wave a massive flag in front of the stage so that they can spot themselves when they watch back on tv.
Surely they should be banned?! |

I see the Kernow flag is missing? Very irritating I know but £12.50 for a glass of wine that resembles weasel piss is proof that Oxfam will be able to feed the population of a small country? |

"Some of them speak in verse
Perhaps that was their curse
Perhaps it’s somewhat perverse
Or even somewhat terse
We’d love to join them but alas…
We just don’t have the purse"
I can see that predicament being somewhat adverse
But would you be adverse to donning the uniform of a nurse?

"I wanna go and have sex with some random guy in a tent, I feel like I missed out on this in my youth .
"
Ugly believe me your youth was not bereft
From the sex in the tent test
Your intrigue was completely miscued
Stranger sex in a festival tent is particularly rude

Went in 2010 when U2 pulled out and Muse headlined. The sun shone for the full 4 days I was there. Fantastic week with great bands.
I'd love to do the Isle of Wight Festival. More my kind of music nowadays.
All sorts of people, OP. That's what made it more interesting. |

Seems to now be full of people talking shite in a fairly monotonous tone, over a drum beat or sample st0len from a proper musician- while dressed like a clown....The red button is your friend, i'm watching Kylie

"The domain of the white middle class seeking to tick off a bucket list item in a tepee?"
You're not wrong.
I'm just home after spending the week down there working on the build up, going back on Monday for the knock down.
First time in years that I've left before the event gets going. |

Love watching from the sofa, I could NOT cope with crowds, poor sanitation and lack of showering facilities
However …
the Wickham festival in Hampshire is lovely a good size and very friendly few kids and great ciders
( beginning of august in passing ) good camping too

Know a few non middle class (admittedly they are white) who go every year. In fact they send me short videos and pictures of their adventures unfortunately, so far, not had the spare funds to go myself.
It’s not just about the music as there’s debate, comedy and plenty of new acts to see. Also some of the areas of the camp with art and different types of events throughout the weekend.
Not for everyone but I’d love to attend one year. |
