Reports that at the beautiful seaside towns of Skegness and Cleethorpes, there is bother on the donkey rides. The donkey owner will not let anyone over 6 stone ride the donkeys to protect the welfare of the donkeys. He has a scales that weigh the children if they look too heavy. But the Obesity Health Alliance are furious that a child is weighed in public and then told they cannot ride a donkey if they are too heavy. Thy are allowed to stroke the donkeys instead.
What's going on. It's all over the news |

I went to Weymouth not long ago and the people there doing the donkey rides matched the kids up visually with the appropriate sized donkeys for their height/maybe weight as well.
A rough idea of what a child weighs is harmless if its for the welfare of the animals surely. |

I also doubt many kids would question the process, if it was all part of getting the donkey ride they wanted. |

"His (or hers) donkeys so up to them to decide how to look after them..
Does this story have legs I wonder..
It could be the kick up the ass that’s needed
Wouldn't that be cruel?
And very risky "
Not a kick for the donkey, that would be cruel, maybe a kick for whoever let the kid get to heavy |

"One of my many school nicknames was "Fat Nick".
I think "Fat Nick, The Donkey Killer" would have been even funnier, in all the right, wrong, horrible ways."
Maybe get it embroidered on a tea towel?

"I needed the editorial to include details of these locations, including what they are famous for "
Skegness a.k.a. Skag ness, a.k.a. skeg Vegas, is famous for bingo, chips and women that will glass you if you look at them. |

i knew the guy who owns the donkey in Skeggy - bought some donkeys off him a few years back, his operators licence he can only have people weighing about 8 stone ride the donkeys or he would loose his licence - the arguments from the parents that their kids are not that heavy - this was the only way to do it |

"If the kids are too fat they cannot ride the donkey..
No exceptions. If a parent does not like it then stop feeding them rubbish "
My lad would be classed as too heavy but he's big and strong for his age. Not an ounce of fat on him. |
