Sprinkle uncooked rice on a hard floor and have them kneel on it. If you think it sounds really tame, just try it yourself for 5 minutes. If you’re flash, buy a shakti yoga mat instead.

Simple things like stress positions- standing with arms out stretched to the sides in a cruciform, with palms up. Put a saucer in each hand and fill it with water…then cane them if they spill anything. Or stand 30cm away from a wall, hands behind back & lean forward from the ankles until they’re supporting their weight with their forehead. Punishment comes if they move their feet or bend at the waist.

Actual misdemeanours, ignore them. Giving them what they want for actually inappropriate behaviour isn't helpful.

Playing up to get your attention, depends on your dynamic.
