So here it is. My annual call for classical music lovers (or just the curious) who can get to London.
There's a concert every night at the Albert Hall for £7 (standing only) from mid-July to early September.
The first one I'm interested in this year is Verdi’s Requiem (a good belter) on 23rd July. If you are interested in coming along let me know. I may post other dates in due course.
And now the sex stuff...
This proposed meet does not involve sex. The Albert Hall is not a swinging venue. This is only for people who want to come to the concert. Anybody who contacts us who gives the impression they are only interested in this because they think there might be a shag in it for them will be blocked. Also, Hannah is abroad on that date so it will just be me (Luke).
If you are sane and would like to join me for this social then please drop me a message. |

Well done for trying. I've earmarked a couple to attend - Shostakovich 4 on 31st July and the Berlin Phil Bruckner 5 on 1st September. I passed up the chance to perform - in the non-biblical sense - in two because the cough-and-spit nature of the choral content didn't justify the number of rehearsals and associated travel expenses.
Hope you enjoy the Verdi Req! |
