That was actually version one of my attempt but now the bathroom looks like a sun tan lotion version of the final scene in a slasher movie. |

Go to B&Q, get a small paint roller and little tray.
Squirt sunscreen in tray and use the roller.
Not the sexiest look but people will comment on how sensible you are and the odd person will actually chuckle and offer to rub it on the awkward middle bit of your back and who knows where that may lead.
