Well I have finally got round to getting the pipe to plumb in a waste pipe for my washing machine in the outhouse, just got to drill a 32mm hole in the wall then a hole in the down pipe from the outhouse, sounds easy enough, Mmm but the ones you think are going to be easy are the ones that turn out to be a pain in the arse lol, wish me luck |

not far from iceland,,,,,, tescos is nearer though :-) (near leeds) |
Might seem a daft question why drill a hole into the down pipe, wouldnt it be easier just to run the waste pipe into the drain itself,,? |

if only it was that easy for me, I have a house that does not actually have drains showing, all the pipes go into the ground up till now when I do a wash I have to open up a rodding hole in the back garden and stick the waste pipe down that lol and a house pipe into the kitchen window and onto a connection under the sink, to small a kitchen to have it in there, I did a power supply into the outhouse so if I get this done today I am just left with getting a proper water supply to it installed. |

well as I suspected it's not going as smoothly as I hoped lol, first of all I thought it was just a single brick outhouse, but turns out it is two, and now as I think job as good as done I cut the hole in the downpipe and it is compacted full of rotting leaves and god knows what, so know I will have to pull it out the ground to clear it all out :9 why do things never go as easy as you thought it would lol |

think you might be right I just dug around the fitting as the bottom was full with crap as well, and the pipe goes no where, there is some clay pipe fragments in the ground so not sure if it has collapsed with old age or it's just meant to soak into the ground i hope not, reported it to the council repairs department, so fingers crossed when they come to look at it lol. |
