now.

its warm we are in summer and i bring up the topic of flies.

i have this common household fly. not my pet you understand but a menace.

its like its been here for months.

days of nothing then vroom it shoots past and always while im naked trying to relax.

i have chased it, swung rolled up papers at it. smashed a cup that i knocked over as i went for it.

i have even used a spray to kill it. but it seems impossible to defeat.

so fellow forumites how do i finally get rid of the fly.

I have seen a rock salt gun for shooting flies - sounds great till you have to clean up the debris!

If you have small children. ( Mine grown up ) Give them a fly swat it’s great to see them in action v amusing to see but…. hide all value stuff below 1.4 meters off the floor !

They have an extremely short lifespan at the most 30 days,so chances are it's a different fly.

Keep spiders as pets or in your home. I have spiders all over my house. Didn't even suffer houseplant gnat season this year whoop.

get a common all garden fly /insect terminator .....lidl sell them .
