Given that I have a heart condition and have been told by those in my life to slow down and take it easy, my mantra is now: there no sense in trying to stay alive if you you aren't going live. |

“We don’t care about being and looking older than we once were, however, we shall continue to never behave older, and shall never attempt to fit into social norms as this may lead us towards inappropriate others” |

If you don’t go after what you want, you’ll never have it. If you don’t ask, the answer is always no. If you don’t step forward, you’re always in the same place. |

"I follow my fitness coach’s mantra.
“Don’t be shit!”
I did the UK ironman at Bolton, apparently it's a common saying there."
I’d love to complete an Ironman but I just can’t get to grips with swimming any sort of distance |

Use your ears and not your mouth.

Don’t cry, no-one cares. Smile, and let them wonder what you are upto.
wisdom has is having a lot to say but choosing to stay silent around idiots who don’t care either way.
I have loads. Haha. |

"...I’d love to complete an Ironman but I just can’t get to grips with swimming any sort of distance "
The swim is the most technical of the disciplines, it's probably the only one that really benefits from actual instruction from a qualified coach. But it's a learnable skill and doesn't require a high level of ability, it's just a journey to the start line
Funnily enough I got into ironman through a girl I met in a gym. She could not swim at all but wanted to do one, it took about 12 months and she's now faster than me. |

Gone and completely forgotten. |
"Better days are coming
The Sunlit Uplands? ?"
It was a tory slogan about the "benefits" of brexit. Maybe once they're booted out, we'll see real better days and sunlit uplands. Maybe. |
