I have a few full body shots in my public pics. They wouldn't be there if I didn't want people to look at them but at the same time I don't let others tell me what I should or shouldn't have on my own profile.
If I was getting lots of messages or comments telling me they were offended by my pics I would question why they were looking at them and why they would feel the need to tell me but I wouldn't remove them. |

Many people use this site for more than meeting people for sex, for starters.
But even if we all agreed on the "sex site" definition, consent is still a thing.
If I attend a club and get turned down, I don't proclaim "but it's a sex club?! You're here so you must be up for it!" ...because that would be absolutely insane.
IMO close up genital pictures shouldnt be allowed as profile pics, and there should be an option in your account settings for them to be automatically blurred out (with option for recipient to reveal if desired) on messages. If people want them in their public pics, hell yeah no issue - it is a sex site after all
The difference is, if i click on someone's public pics, I've gone looking - and I know what I might find. That's on me. If it is in a profile pic, or my inbox, well I didn't get any choice in seeing that, and that's not cool. |
