"No point. Normal opening question still "What you after?"
"
Exactly this, always the same.
I've put some right gobbled stuff on my profile in the past, it's made no sense and people still say "liked your profile" and I ask "how so?" and they either get the hint or own up they didn't actually read it. |

Sometimes we spend a while chatting to a couple about what the ladies can get up but the mood gets destroyed as the couple haven’t read our profile, we updated it to add a specific bit of key information to the top to try and avoid the issue, but sadly not many read fully, just skim |

Our profile is much longer. We used to have a pretty short profile but kept getting asked the same questions so we answered them in our profile text.
Yes a lot of the people who message us clearly haven’t read the whole thing, but our first response to any new contact is for them to confirm they have read it all. Anyone who messages back nearly always has then gone and read it if they hadn't already. Some don’t reply which is good cos it means we weren’t on the same page.
Yes a shorter profile text is much more likely to get read, but if someone can’t be arsed to read for 5 mins then they certainly ain’t gonna be arsed to drive to our rural location which is nearly always at least 30 mins drive for most people. |

Yeah. My profile is long, I make no apologies, and if you can't read it, you can't meet me. |
