Here is an interesting titbit for you….
Remember the OJ Simpson slow speed bronco car chase…. 30 years ago today!!!
In fact there is the same distance in Time between today and the bronco car chase, as there is between the bronco car chase…. And the assassination of JFK!!!
Things you learn
I feel really old cause I still remember that car chase!!! |

I have a thing about steam trains, so I'm envious of you!! |

The children that come to work with me do not know who Kaiser Soze is.
They've never heard of "Excellent"
They dont feel the need, the need for speed.
ET was a shit graphics effect film and they will never do the truffle shuffle coz they spend too much time in the gym.
Old spice is a condiment that justbeat has never heard of
And my user name, is someone with an identirty crisis from Wales.

"Peter Schmeichel retired from international football in 2001 aged 38
Kasper Schmeichel turns 38 this year "
This reminded me that Scotland goalkeeper David Marshall retired last week.
I was in 4th year at Secondary school when he made his debut |

"Viggo Mortensen; Aragon in Lord of the Rings, is now the same age that Ian McKellen was when he first played Gandalf."
I really wish you hadn’t said that… I had the biggest crush on him back then, and of course now I’ve just googled him and ruined it for myself |

Makes me feel old when one of my kids Co es up to me and asks that I listen to this really cool song they've just discovered. And I've been listening to it since I was their age. My 13yo just discovered Nirvana. Told her to listen to the Unplugged in New York live album. Realised I was her age when I first heard it 30 years ago. Fuck I'm getting old |

Remember that really well, we got stuck in our primary school as an old oak tree came down across the road out the front couldn't get in or out until the tree had been felled properly |

And now I feel old
I was in my uni halls watching it on TV with friends "
I had got sky installed that morning and I was talking to my mum on my amstrad phone (it was very modern for 2001 lol) and she was telling me about it and not really knowing how serious it was, switched sky news on and Kay Burley was on I think, remember it well. |

"I was on the school bus when I heard the news about 9/11"
I was into my third year of retirement!
Was parked on the cliff top at Grosnez castle. Someone in another car got out and ran round telling everyone about it. I might not have known for quite a while otherwise.
Don't think I ever heard about O.J. Simpson. |
