If I felt the need to shout at the TV I'd switch it off.And frequently do.

If I felt the need to frequently shout at the TV I'd be in the shed making explosive devices

Mrs J gets annoyed at me when I shout at the television.

I get all frothy when the BBC newsreader uses words like "gonna"

Instead of going to or "gonnoo" which means god knows what.

Also when someone is asked "how are you?" And the reply is "good" arrrggghhh !!!!!!

I relieve the annoyance for her by shouting at the radio in the van when on my own doing my round esp Any Questions on Radio 4 when some labour loonie spouts condescending drivel .

All things that make me shout at the TV!

Except the TT which I usually watch through my fingers

Mostly I shout at the appauling english, in ads and the news. Nobody seems to say sixth anymore, it's always sic ! or corter not quater, the worst is the arial ad when one brother says 'my brothers got a hot date tonight' the brother responds 'I do' ???

Clearly he means I have.

You got me started now,

Can I get ?.......

meaning can I have, the person behind the counter gets it for you it's why they are there.
