Reports of new guidance for hill walkers and mountaineers in Scotland, famous for proudly producing short bread tins, often with pictures of mountains, pipers and wild stag. The guidance advises men not to call female walkers sweetheart or darling and not to lecture women on how to read a map. For some reason, a commentator has said that most hill walkers are white, middle aged men and more must be done to make women feel more comfortable in the hills. What's going on here.
