I'm more partial to a big, disorganised, well used bookcase myself

Well organised could be using whatever system they use.... it doesn't mean pristine Dewey Decimaling it.

Daizy show me your books please and thank you.

Gone and completely forgotten.

Mine would bore you.

Art history books, history history books, photography monographs, & classic ghost stories.

Nothing raunchy, and no blockbusters.

I have a nude bookcase that’s been fucked by my Kindle………I still buy actual books from time to time either to enjoy a bookshop purchase experience, or giving a used book from ebay a new home.

I only have two books on show

They're both pictorial hardback coffee table books

One is Russian propaganda art

One is Nazi propaganda posters

Both as fascinating historically as they are distasteful

Even if I showed you my bookcase, you'd not see all my books, as they're double stacked.

But suffice to say, most of them are Stephen King, or Dean Koontz...

Sagittarius A

It's an absolute mess of novels, textbooks, philosophy, economics, psychology. With bits and bobs scattered all over the place.

I've got Warren Buffet, next to Jack Kerouac and Mein Kampf next to the communist manifesto. Ayn Rand next to Chomsky and Audre Lorde propped up by Gross' Psychology.

Hairbrushes, receipts it's also an Inbox-outray.

I do understand because it was a wrench to let go of favourite books when I got the kindle version, but at one point I lived in 3 flats in 7 months so I got used to travelling light!

Books are beautiful things.

Mine is currently undergoing an overhaul.. Found out yesterday in feng shui you're not supposed to have a bookcase in your bedroom and if you must have one there have the books horizontal because vertical creates bars which will cut your mojo

I'd need to dig a few out, but I have book of poetry from the early 1830s, an "Enquire Within Upon Everything" reference from 1875, and a "Treatise on Mechanics" from 1806.
