"I dont know anything about the condition but sorry to here you have it hope you are able to control itxxkarenxx"
Basicaly vitamin B12 controls the oxygen in your blood, having the condition means that the immune system in your small intestine stops you being able to store B12.
Even when you take vitimins oraly it doesn't work,so you need injections so that your liver then stores it.
It can also cause headaches, tinitus, disorientation and memory loss if not treated

"I have the same condition and even though I have the injections I still feel knackered all the time "
i've forgotten what its like not to be exhausted all the time, though the jabs have got me back on my feet pretty much and i can walk up the stairs without needing a 2 hour kip on the top step now ! |

and so so much more ...hopefully you've been diagnosed early and will have a GP who will treat you symptomatically , not by the book. Welcome to the world of convincing people that missing one simple vitamin is a hell of a lot more complex than they realise xx |

"Yeah,I take a multi vit n mineral every day but obviously can't store the B12.

i hate needles and the jabs sting a little ..first time i was so worried about the needle that i relaxed once that was in ( its tiny! )and then jumped so hard once the stuff was going in that it pulled the needle out and scratched all down my arm lol
it just meant she had to do it again !!
it goes in the top of your arm so no need to bare your bum either ....well mine does, anyhow lol |

you also need to make sure your iron and b9 ( folic acid ) levels are checked and kept up .... b12 is a complex little bugger and without those , especially the b9, you'll not get as much goodness out of the jabs xx |

No personal experience but my Step Mum and an ex work mate both had B12 deficiency, both have the jabs and both have done really well on them.
They do seem to know when its time for the next though, so make sure you don't miss the deadline..............
