After watching "leaving neverland".

I thought it was quite a damning documentary.

I say this as a fan of his music.

Should be treated the same as Saville and Harris. Only got away with it by buying peoples silence.

I won’t listen to his music.

Bizarrely, had to convince a former younger workmate that he, MJ, was black.. They were convinced he was born the way he died.

His phenomenal output, from his creativity, has him asan outstanding genius. I've no idea about any darker side, though there's tragedy for sure

To double down on your devil's advocate.

I would never accuse someone of such a heinous crime in order to get a payout.

As a teenager growing up in the 80’s the Thriller album and songs of it were some of the best and so were the videos to those songs. However although he was found innocent of various court cases there are too many people paid off too many allegations that I feel he is possibly guilty. However when I still here songs like Thriller , Beat it , Smooth Criminal , Human Nature I turn up the radio and attempt to sing along

Wirral.

He not only groomed the kids, but the whole families. And was skilled at seeking out his victims. He was a very dangerous man.

Why is he excused because he produced "good" music? He's in the same vein as Saville, Glitter, etc al.

Didnt he go to court & get off?

I don't know enough to judge or condemn him, aside from I think he admitted to sharing a bed with under 18s "innocently" (if I recall correctly) & in that case I don't think any situation justifies an adult & child sharing a bed, aside from immediate family.

Very talented, creative and influential musician and performer. Unfortunately I think he's in the fiddler category.

People still listen to his music because he was immensely popular and sort of give him a pass the same way Elvis frequently gets a pass for getting with Priscilla far too young.

Just say for 2 seconds that he was completely innocent, and that he never did anything wrong, but he did have sleep overs with children! (His version of events)

This alone makes him a complete wrong-un.

And the parents are also to blame, who the hell lets their child sleep over at an adults house, knowing it was in his bed! They should have their children taken off them.

I know that if it was my child no amount of money would pay my silence regardless of how famous the person was.

I think he was mentally delayed very naive and extremely child like due to his upbringing.

Personally I think he felt happier and safer around younger people and if you delve into his childhood you can see why.

Makes me seem like I was a fan of his which I definitely wasn't.

In my unbiased opinon, I think that he was trying to regain a childhood that he lost due to fame. We've all heard what a hard task master his father was(which they all ultimately benefitted from), I think as a result oif that he desperately pined for normal childhood experiences. He thought he could find these by hanging around with youngsters at certain times...
