I ‘spose we ought to keep it all in one place or people will cry “sports”…..
So…. Who’s got the Scot’s tonight? Anyone going out for any games….
Who wins?
Who are your dark horses?
Who will be player of the tournament??

" think germany will start us off in style, scotland will battle but get outclassed
England to win the tournament.
Turkey as dark horses.
Player of the tournament will either be bellingham, foden or wirtz |

I was in Munich last weekend for a gig at the Olympic stadium and it’s one of the fan parks - it looks incredible - they know how to put a parties on for sure!
When we came out of the gig there was a sole guy on the bagpipes - I laughed and gave him a nod…loved it

Can see a thrashing for the first game for Scotland
Can see England coming 3rd in their group haha
Germany to win
Dark horses - Swiss team looks a bit random
Player of the tournament - Toni kroos |

There are 4-5 teams who could win it.
England's attack at full chat looks fearsome.
Germany looking better than they have in years and history advantage.
Spain have a great midfield though look a bit ropey everywhere else.
Portugal strong all over the pitch but might be sunk by the Ronalado psychodrama.
The Netherlands have a good defence and lots of energy.
Scotland might get a point in the group stage and crow about it for years. |

"At the end of the day... it's only a game!
Yes a game WE'RE LOSING!!
Surely you didn't expect anything else?
I hoped.
And it's the hope that kills you.
That's a bit extreme "
You're right. Hopefully it ends 3-4 |

"Ref has spoiled it tbh strong fair tackles being punished not a penalty and not a sending off imo"
Eh? Both feet off the ground and studs showing? It would have been marginal back in Division 1 in 1995 but it was a penalty all day long and a red for dangerous conduct. Even the players seemed to accept it. |

He won the ball so your not allowed aggression your not allowed to stand your ground ? That's what's wrong with the game now it's snowflakes everywhere and let's go back to 95 at least they got back up and not rolled around like pussies ffs it's a contact sport |

"Did he break his leg ? No play on ffs "
Do you mean if the German was lucky not to have his leg/ankle broken then fair enough…
But it was a two footed not in control tackle that just happened to get part of the ball! There is no chance that isn’t a penalty and a red! |

"Did he break his leg ? No play on ffs "
I'm a girl, so probably ill informed, but pretty certain in the rules of Association Football, "did s/he break a leg?" is not the qualifying criterion for a penalty to be awarded.
It was a penalty in 2024 and 1995. |

Same, we were outclassed and the better team won on the night! I’m still disappointed though, my stein is always half full and Lorne IS better that bratwurst |
