If you go to the milk man to buy milk when you’re lactose intolerant and you spend an extra fifteen minutes talking to him about his milk, the cows, the quality of their milk, etc; it’s small talk because you only want to ride him not drink the milk.
If YOLO was the expert on almond croissants and you wanted a sweet, delicious bite of him…
