Here in The New Forest the stallions have just been taken off the forest.
Each year sixteen lucky stallions get let loose for six weeks do do what they will with five thousand randy mares.
They go out all gleaming and cocky - and six weeks later they are a shadow of their former selves, only too pleased to be rounded up and locked away, safely out of reach of all those demanding mares.
Makes you glad the male to female ratio on Fab is a little more balanced..... |
