I'm off alcohol for the next two - three weeks owing to some pretty nasty injuries and ensuing knee brace and very strong meds.
So... I'm living vicariously through you guys now.
What's your favourite drink?
Mine used to be the Seinfeld Martini. (2 parts vodka, 2 parts Martini Extra Dry, 3 parts Lidl spicy gherkin juice, shaken over ice and garnished with Lidl spicy gherkins and the brine... like a dirty Martini but more interesting).
Over to you.
Mojito?
Piña colada?
Boilermaker?
Strawberry daiquiri?

Been yeeeeears since I had a snakebite and black. My ex husband was coeliac and we had McDonald's that night so he was hogging the toilet shitting and I was violently ill from at least 6 pints and the only place to puke was the bath. Perhaps that's why it's been years since I drank it. |

Nope. It's a Lidl product. Spicy gherkins or "cornichons". I can't remember if you can get them in Ireland but they're tiny little pickled cucumbers in a very spice brine with red hot chili peppers and mustard seeds.
I don't recommend it unless you're watching something silly on TV... Like 23 Hours to Kill by Seinfeld on Netflix |
