Meli is really easy to catch.
Approach her slowly but make your intention clear. Make sure you hold out your hand open palmed with a small block of cheese. Wait for her to sniff the cheese before you give her a scratch behind the ears. If she accepts the cheese, take your pants off. It’s go time |

I understand if that doesn't work, then pull out the butterfly net you were hiding behind your back, and in a swift deft movement, bring it down from above and catch her in it. |

Yes absolutely. If the cheese doesn’t work, you can always use a net.
If that doesn’t work, use a trail of books to lure her to the box you have to siting propped up by a stick. When she goes under the box to get the last book kick out the stick to trap her. That will work too |

I used to have framed butterfly collections in the hallway of my parents house (captured and mounted from my childhood in Thailand and Malaysia). But they disintegrated some 30 years ago. |

"She hasn’t rejected me yet either. So here’s to my public rejection but hopefully not yours OP"
Just something about her. I think she’s really cool. Distance is a killer though so it wouldn’t work. Just a conversation would be good. |

She will come to you. Geographically disparities do not figure in her vocabulary. |

But, but, but...whenever I suggest that to you, you inadvertently cross your legs and say, "sorry, it's the time of the month."

As sweet as this is, and I can see it's just a piece of good hearted fun from op with no malice intended, part of me doesn't like it. It adds pressure and a seems a way of getting past filters m I hope this doesn't become a trend in the forum. - Don't mean to rain on anyone's parade. |

No you’re 100% right. I think we’re all being wind ups as usual but you’re definitely correct. |

"1st attempt at shooting my shot at Meli until she acknowledges me or at least rejects me
Hi Meli, you are stunning. Can we inbox? "
How many attempts are you planning on trying OP and what are the timeframes between each one? Do you have a spreadsheet or a reminder set on your phone? All very important questions |

"I am probably the only one who doesn’t find it amusing, in fact I find this’s thread very uncomfortable for many reasons."
Your not the only one
Didn't Red leave for something similar?

The people have spoken and I’m not one for making people uncomfortable.
I was thinking of using an initial going forward but I won’t.
Probably hard to believe but it was just a creative way to get a response/acknowledgment.
M if you do see this there is no pressure to respond. Have a good day everyone |

To be loved is to be seen.
These will work so well on me. Too well.
OP, just message me directly. No offence taken don't worry, I know you're doing it from a... creative approach. Just, no more public attempts please. Thank you! x |
