Hi. I'm 60, widower, new to the scene. I've never been able to 'chat people up', I'm fine nattering about 'stuff' - it's my job, but I really struggle to say hello.
I've been told that I should start out with socials, but it's really hard to find them and get an invite. So I plan to go to clubs, since I can't seem to get any replies here.
Wtf do people talk about? Sorry if I sound like a complete plank, but I'm really out of practice, live alone and work remotely a lot.
Any advice would be appreciated. Ta. |
