Does it have to be upside down, or is the whole pineapple thing just a myth ( in regards to swinging )

If the pineapple is up the right way, then you need to be upside down. For women this could be a problem as their skirts/dresses will be round their heads, leaving their nether regions exposed. This obviously has a significant plus site for the male of the species.
