just turned 51 - so many women here have their cut off at 50 - lol
makes me feel sooooo old and as if i'm past it when i actually feel in my prime and up for lots of sexy naughty fun

I had my preferences at 50 and a lovely guy messaged me and he was lovely. It turned out he was 51 but he was honest about that.
We had great fun and it made me re think my upper age limit x |

i am 51 and yes it is old. i meet lots of men in their fifties, fourties and some in their thirties.
i have met men in their fifties and one in his sixties they wore me out. 
i think they take viagra which isnt always a good thing. |

No deffo not to old many play with guys 50+ and it's great you are honest about your age + marital status.
We know of many who lie about their age which is a bit daft if they look a lot older

I am 52 this year and definitely do not class myself as old. Maybe 20 years ago it was old, but times have changed. I look 10 years younger and feel at least 20 years younger. Society unfortunately dictates that 50+ is old, society needs to change with the times too. |

As far as age goes each to their own.
Our age limit is set where it is as we don't want to play with people who are the same age as our parents. In the same way as many avoid people the same age as their children.

never felt uncomfortable meeting ppl the same age as my parents,never had a meet 'mother' me lol
pretty open minded, but I know I wouldnt want a relationship with someone my parents ages..namely because, one day I'd like kids..
but I know I'm here for shagging mainly, so it would never really be an issue |

I am also 52 this year, and i can honestly say that i started swinging at the age of 50 and have never looked back.
Apart from one or two most of the guys that i have met and talking too are betweem 40/50 and a high percentage of them have told me that they do prefer the mature lady.
But like they have said each to their own when it comes to numbers  |

For me as your a single guy then yes 51 is way over my upper limit.
Also yes people have set limits at 50 and I'm sure you will find that they don't really go for people at the higher or lower end of their age limits but have stretched it already and made 50 the absoloute cut off!
So don't think your only one year out there limit what should it matter.. Cos your prob more like 10 years older than what they prefer |

Guess we are way too old then. We have our preferred age ranges as +/- 10 yrs as we would not be able to keep up with some of the young things on here and would not want to disappoint anyone. We are sure that there are some people within the age range that would not be put on by our advancing years and penchant for Horlicks. Lol. Opportunities are obviously few and far between and can only recede as opposed to increase. Still very young at heart though. |

I had a quick look on there a week or two ago and found her. And guess what?

My husband will be 54 this year and I will 50 I dont want anyone older than me, so my cutoff age is 50. I went below my lower age limit with a meet but i failed to check his age so never say never maybe. Must admit have seen some pretty good bodies on guys over 50 but something must be stopping me I guess  |

OP - on here, yes I would agree it is 'limiting' due to the arbitary way the majority of people (male and female) apply their age limits. Mine aren't cast on stone, but - hey! - if that's someones preference... who am I to question it?
But, funny how I have met people in clubs or anywhere in the real world and been surprised, nay, staggered when I find out their REAL ages: have met a 28 year old recently who I would have sworn was not a day under 40! And, a while back, a 66 yr old lady (yes, SIXTY SIX) who looked a lot better than some women 20 years her junior...

We are open minded and I understand what you mean but you have to cut off somewhere and since we both prefer nearer our own ages we chose the limits we have

51 as old? It could be worse!
Admittedly, age is more than just a number. But if you’re youthful in appearance and still young at heart, there’s the advantage of experience that comes w/ age. Perhaps less acrobatic, but a richer palette, particularly post-coital.

No. Over 50 is NOT 'old'. Over 50 is 'experienced'... in all sorts of things. Okay, I can't do a few things like I could when I was 25, but I feel a LOT more fulfilled as a person now than I ever did then. And as far as swinging is concerned, yes I had a whale of a time in my 20's when I stumbled upon this strange little world, but I am NOW under no illusions just what I was to a lot of the couples and women I met then - just a young fit guy who made THEM feel good about themselves. What I got out of it was of no concern to the majority.
I would like to think that I learned from that, and wouldn't treat anyone younger than me like that. It's about passing on an attitude and broader experience of enjoying recreational sex in all it's many and varied forms - not just about using anyone - and that only comes with the passing of a (few!!) years...

There have been experiments on rejuvenation, incl the tv one where they put a group of people somewhat away from their birth year into a house. They were expected to self-care, and live as if it was still the 1970's, when they were younger. They took psychological tests, before and after the week long test, and they lowered their mental age.
