Just try different areas. I have a MyFi so best place is on the bay window, but if you’re wired the best place for coverage is high on a shelf centre of your house. Point the little Ariel’s away from solid brick or stone walls too |

It's right by the phone line inlet thingy and positioned on my work desk. It doesn't give great signal in son's room (garage conversion) but it's otherwise decent.
It's Sky basic one without any telly package. |

Rowter, although route rhymes with root in my dialect.
There's a very simple explanation for this. I'm Australian. In my dialect, "rooter" means fucker (context example "I'm goin' home t' mah sheila to root 'er"). Swearing should be intentional, and occasionally one must discuss network equipment with bosses, in-laws, grandparents etc. Rowter is a neat dodge. |
