It is an absolute privilege to watch the interviews with the veterans still living, luckily I have been here on my own so have been able to shed tears without anyone noticing it. It does bring into focus the sheer futility and stupidity of young people losing their lives through stabbings and substance abuse etc. I also wonder what happens in Germany at these times. |
