Good evening
Come and say hello and tell us if you have any outrageous spends this week
I'm buying a bag of haribos tomorrow "
I am hoping to buy a new pair of headphones to replace my expensive and not remotely broken headphones.

"Redecorating a room and the builders price has just gone up £2k cos the plasters blown.
Bugger.
Have you read the Tradesman thread for handy hints?! "
Nope.
I knew the plaster might be blown, had hoped we'd get away with the work quoted for, but when they started chasing channels for rewiring, the plaster just started coming away. |

I was stripping paper off the hall and stairs and a chunk of plaster about a square m came away, I could almost look behind the rest of it, all blown.
So its all off back to brick and renew.
Reskimming a few other rooms while we are living in a mess.

From what I believe I saw running through my living room earlier, it looks like I might be buying mousetraps and disinfectant. As well as possibly new kitchen cupboard contents, depending what I find when I pull them all out at the weekend |
